Unlike the IC-1, which is designed for single-direction carving, and the IC-2, which is bi-directional with curved ends, the DD Skids are made for skateboarders who want to take iceboarding into a more aggressive, technical direction.

DD Skids are best suited for standard popsicle decks, especially the type of decks commonly used in skateparks, bowls, and ramp riding. The DD Skids feature Zema’s patent-pending mirrored double-blade design, with one blade positioned above the other. If the skid rotates or flips during ramp, bowl, or trick-focused riding, it transfers to the opposite blade, helping keep the rider on a usable edge instead of ending upside down.
